Introducing Multiple Languages: use HandsHQ in Spanish

Safety doesn’t speak just one language and neither should your tools.

For teams operating across borders or managing multilingual workforces, working in an English-only interface can slow things down and create unnecessary barriers. We’ve heard from many of you that language support is critical to making HandsHQ work for your entire team.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Multiple Languages - starting with full Spanish language support for the HandsHQ interface, with more languages on the way.

HandsHQ, now in Spanish

With this update, your team can now use HandsHQ in Spanish. The interface, navigation, buttons, and labels have been fully translated so Spanish-speaking departments can work confidently without needing to interpret English menus or prompts.

What you can do with Multiple Languages:

  • Set Spanish as the default language for any division in your account.
  • Give your team a translated interface - from navigation and buttons to system messages and labels.
  • Receive emails, approval requests, and signature notifications in the selected language.
  • Exports and reports set in the language configured for your division.

The translation is only available for the HandsHQ interface, and not for document and user-provided content.

Why we built this

With a growing number of multinational and Spanish-speaking users, the feedback was clear: people need to use safety tools in a language they fully understand.

Safety documentation should never be slowed down by a language barrier. When your team can navigate HandsHQ in their own language, there are fewer mistakes, less ambiguity, and a faster path to getting RAMS completed and signed off.

How it works

Language settings are managed at the division level. An admin can set the default language for a division from Settings > Business details > Localisation. Once updated, all users in that division will see the interface in the selected language.

More languages coming soon

Spanish is just the beginning. We’re already working on adding more languages to HandsHQ, with German and French next on the roadmap. If there’s a language your team needs, we’d love to hear from you — your feedback directly shapes what we prioritise next.

Getting started

Multiple Languages is now live for customers on the Medium RAMS plan and above, and all Training Register plans.
