Introducing Folders and Custom views: a better way to organise and manage your RAMS

We know that managing RAMS can become challenging — especially when you’re working across multiple sites, clients, or projects.

Over the past few years, we’ve heard consistent feedback about the need for a better way to organise long lists of RAMS, and more control over how information is displayed.

This month, we’re introducing two major updates that address these problems directly: Folders and the new Custom RAMS view.

Folders — a flexible way to organise your RAMS

For teams managing a growing number of RAMS, the main dashboard can easily become overwhelming. Until now, there hasn’t been a way to group related RAMS or mirror how your projects are structured in real life. Folders changes that.

What you can do with Folders

  • Group RAMS into folders by site, client, project phase — or any structure that works for your team
  • Favourite key folders to pin them to the top of your list
  • Quickly access recent folders without searching
Folders are available on Small Teams plan and above.

Why we built this

Many of you told us that managing RAMS felt harder than it should — especially when dealing with dozens of documents per site or client. Folders helps solve this by making your dashboard cleaner, easier to navigate, and better aligned with how you already think about your projects.

Custom RAMS view: sort, filter, and customise your RAMS table

Alongside Folders, we’ve also upgraded the RAMS list to give you full control over how information is displayed. Whether you’re approving RAMS, preparing for audits, or reviewing expiry dates, you can now tailor the view to suit your needs.

Filter the list to find what matters

Use multiple filters at once to narrow down your RAMS list. You can now filter by:

  • Approval status
  • Client name
  • RAMS status (Live, Ended, Future)
  • Signature status

and many other fields.

Filtering helps reduce visual noise and lets you focus only on the RAMS that are relevant to your task.

Customise your columns

You can now choose which columns appear in your RAMS list. For example, if you’re focused on reviewing signatures or checking review dates, you can show only those columns — and hide everything else.

Just click the table icon in the top right corner of your RAMS dashboard to add or remove columns.

Sort and resize columns

Click on any column header to sort the table — whether you want to bring the oldest RAMS to the top or see the most recently updated ones first. You can also drag column edges to resize them for better readability.

Getting started

Folders and Custom views are most powerful when used together. You can filter RAMS by folder, focus on specific review statuses, and keep your workspace tidy and efficient — no matter how complex your project setup is.

Both features are now live in your RAMS dashboard:

  • If you’re on the Small Teams plan or above, you’ll see the Folders panel on the left-hand side.
  • Everyone has access to the new Custom RAMS View, including filters, column management, and sorting.
